BIOGRAPHY OF DISTRICT GOVERNOR

Lion Nishat Parveen Huq is the second child among five children of Late Engr Mirza Motiar Rahman and Begum Sufia Sultana of Sirajganj. She was born on 27 april 1955. She had pursued her higher studies in English at the Honors and Masters level at Jahangirnagar university.Her Late father Mirza motiar Rahman was an active member of Chittagong Lions Club.

Nishat Parveen Huq joined as a Charter member of Lioness Club of Dhaka Dipita, Dist 315 Banglaadesh in ther year 1983 . She was the secretary Hospital Committee Bangladesh Lions Foundation for the two consecutive terms. She participated as the guest speaker in the club meeting of Lions Club of hawai,Honolulu, USA and Lions Club of Long Island, New York, USA.

she was awarded with: 100% Attendance certificate, Club President Certificate, Membership Extension Award, Club Extension Award, International President's Appreciation Certificates and Awards Etc.

She is married to Mr. Mohammed Daniul Huq, Professor in Linguistics, Jahangirnagar university on 01, November 1973. They are blessed with two children. In her professional life, Nishat Parveen Huq is the Principal of Morning Glory School, Savar Cantonment.
